It
is important as a layman, seeker, researcher or even Dharma teacher who
aspires deliverance and birth in the Land of Bliss to be honest in the
way the truth of our existence is beheld. First of all, it is crucial to
seek good fellow friends and teachers who can show us the way and help
us understand the teaching through systematic means, interrelate them to
guide us back to the original intent of Buddha's coming into being.
There are various explications on Pureland dharma but perhaps not as
penetrative and confidence evoking.
We can't go on to express how delighted we are as we practice by Master Shan Dao's way of learning and understanding, and we must honestly say that it is salvation in its truest intent. Thank you, Master Shan Dao. It is Amitabha Buddha's salvation for us to meet and study under Master Huijing 慧淨法師 and Master Jingzong 淨宗法師 (of present time) who have been preaching Master Shan Dao's pristine Pureland Dharma from a perspective that is original, enlivening, penetrating and confidence inspiring. First of all, it is good to read and learn the Pureland tradition transmission 傳承 to understand why various great Buddhist masters in the past relinquished their own dharma path to pour their heart and soul into practicing recitation of Buddha's name with aspiration to be born in the Pureland and indeed eventually attained birth in the Land of Bliss 極樂世界.
